The Journey to Grown Woman Joy!
Grown Woman Joy! was born from a simple truth: women—especially us grown women—deserve to prioritize ourselves without guilt. Too often, we give endlessly to our families, careers, and communities while leaving our own needs last. But self-care isn’t selfish; it’s survival!

Meet Dr. Madeline
Hello! I’m Dr. Madeline, a board-certified OBGYN physician, advocate for women’s wellness, public health scientist, best-selling author, mom of three amazing sons and one goldendoodle, Purple-Army Prince Day One fan, and travel and concert enthusiast.
All of those journeys have taught me about self-care AND joy. Creating Grown Woman Joy! has been inspired by my love for taking care of women as a physician and my desire to see ALL OF US thrive. Grown Woman Joy! is more than journals—it’s a movement.
We are dedicated to helping women redefine self-care, not as an occasional luxury but as a daily necessity. Through guided techniques, in-person workshops, and a growing community, we provide the tools to help you reclaim your time, restore your energy, and rediscover joy. UNAPOLOGETICALLY!

At Grown Woman Joy, we believe self-care is a revolutionary act—a commitment to putting yourself first, not as an afterthought, but as a foundation for everything else in your life.
We know what it’s like to be stretched thin. To pour from an empty cup. To feel like taking care of yourself is just one more thing on the to-do list. That’s why we created a space for women 35+ to learn real, sustainable self-care strategies, connect with like-minded women, and access tools that make prioritizing yourself easier.

Our Mission
To help women establish self-care as a daily practice—not just a reaction to burnout. We provide guidance, workshops, and tangible tools, like the Grown Woman Joy! journals and planners, to help women design a life of balance, fulfillment, and intention.
